In today’s increasingly competitive marketplace, the misrepresentation of experience and falsification of documents has become common practice whereby embellished or forged credentials are presented by dishonest individuals looking to obtain roles within critical industry sectors – such as Engineering.
To mitigate this risk, the Oman Society of Engineers (OSE) invited the DataFlow Group to speak at their 28th Arab Engineering Conference held in Muscat 11-13th December 2018.
Complementing the theme of the conference – ‘Quality of Engineering Education and its Impact on Building Knowledge Based Economy in the Arab World,’ the focused presentation delivered by the DataFlow Group’s Strategic Customer and Solutions Director Vera Gondard, covered the integral role of Primary Source Verification (PSV) to reduce the risk of unqualified Engineers. A solution that has been implemented by OSE since 2016 to ensure the accurate evaluation and screening process for Engineering applicants and OSE membership.
To acknowledge the OSE and DataFlow Group working relationship, the OSE CEO Eng. Hamood Al Sinadi and Vice Chairman Eng. Fuad Al-Kindi took the opportunity to recognise the DataFlow Group with an award to showcase the value they place on the risk management services provided.
